Director: Dr Teck K Khong


Dr Teck Keong Khong is a GP in Leicester and a Forensic Physician for Northamptonshire Police. He read medicine at Sheffield University and law at Cardiff University. 

In 2006, he founded the Leicestershire Health Consortium, one of the largest GP commissioning groups in the East Midlands, and chaired until 2009
. In 2011, he was elected to the Governing Body of the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group which manages the health and social care delivery with a budget of £380 million.

Teck was a member of the Local Medical Committee, a past-president of the Leicestershire and Rutland Division of the BMA and a
 member of the BMA Working Party on Medical Chambers. He was also a past-president of the Leicestershire Medico-Legal Society. In 2010, he set up New Britannia, a unique think tank that encourages direct public participation in policy discussions.
