Commissioning and Provision
|
The demarcation between primary and secondary care has been a vexatious issue in modern healthcare delivery, and the problem has been compounded by the antagonistic funding mechanisms of these key sectors in the NHS. With 30 years of experience in clinical medicine and healthcare services, Dr Khong is ideally positioned to advise on a wide range of strategic solutions.
HealthWebWide specialises in configuring and organising service delivery systems based on the philosophy of seamless care, a model that is well supported by the principles of government policy on health.
Dr Khong is a Board Member of the Governing Body of the Leicester City Clinical Commissioning Group and its Lead for Safeguarding, Children's Services and Maternity. He is a member of the Local Safeguarding Adults Board and the Local Safeguarding Children Board. Dr Khong also heads the Care Home Project for Leicester.
